EPiCS Strengthens International Collaboration at the 2025 ACEEU Forum in Prague
From 9 to 12 September 2025, EPiCS partners took part in the Global ACEEU Forum in Prague, bringing together more than 150 experts and leaders from over 40 countries to discuss innovation, entrepreneurship, and engagement in higher education.
The Forum’s theme, “Higher Education Excellence in the 21st Century”, closely aligned with EPiCS, underlining how universities can enhance their impact when vision, strategy, and everyday practices work in synergy.
The event marked an important step for the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU), which recently joined EPiCS as an Associated Partner. CZU’s involvement supports the project in turning research results into practical benefits and fostering long-term sustainability.
One of the highlights was the EU Funding Workshop and Networking, co-organised with ACEEU and CZU. EPiCS partners engaged in peer exchange, shared challenges, and co-designed innovative approaches that will inform the project’s upcoming pilot actions.
The Forum also provided opportunities for networking with over 35 universities and organisations, helping EPiCS build new collaborations to expand outreach and amplify the use of project results.
In addition, partners held the second face-to-face project meeting, focusing on the development of the EPiCS Digital Platform. Through a hands-on workshop, its mission and vision were defined, ensuring alignment with EPiCS’ long-term goals.
By combining international dialogue, strategic planning, and capacity-building, the Forum represented a valuable milestone for EPiCS. The outcomes achieved in Prague will guide the next stages of the project, reinforcing its role in promoting citizen science and research service-learning across Europe and beyond.
